Only 10 days remaining for young musicians to apply to perform at one of the most dynamic music gatherings in Europe; the acclaimed 12 Points festival return to the Project Arts Centre next April 2015, after a biennial European edition in UmeƄ, Sweden.

Winner of the Europe Jazz Network Award for Adventurous Programming, 12 Points is uniquely nomadic – alternating annually between Dublin and other young European cities, creating a vibrant community amongst creative musicians across the continent.

12 Points is now searching for a young Irish act to join 11 other acts from 12 different European countries for the 2015 festival - playing jazz, experimental or related music.

Over the last 9 years the festival has become an important platform for emerging European jazz talent, and a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to perform in front of some of Europe’s top jazz festival bookers and music media; 12 Points brings exciting perspectives on a great music tradition, from emerging artists with plenty to say.

Previous Irish participants include math-rock foursome Alarmist, electro-jazz outfit OKO and Lauren Kinsella’s vocal improv group Thought-fox.
